This brochure was edited by Steven Feinberg, MD, a professor at Stanford University and physiatrist in private practice. The intent of the brochure is to help manage the pain patient's expectations and provide tested and true strategies for living a high quality life with chronic pain. It was developed over a three-year period and market-tested at 25 clinics nationwide. Feedback from both clinicians and patients was integral in its creation.
