"Pharmacotherapy"

Artist Statement:

Physicians often focus on pharmacotherapy in treating chronic pain. This can be effective but has its limits. Healthcare providers should take a more holistic approach to pain management considering the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I believe doctors can improve the quality of life for patients and decrease both the economic and human costs of chronic pain by using a holistic treatment model.
