"Prometheus"

Artist Statement:

Prometheus: "What is the result of my suffering? The fire already burns. The pain does not affect it. There is nothing new to learn from it. My mind beats against the intellectual, the spiritual and whatever feels. I can stop feeling. Thoughts open and close around feelings. Feelings open and close the curtain of intellect. The spirit is sometimes destroyed by feelings. I feel there are legitimacies to not feeling. It feels more directly in the present. I wonder if Jesus knows about me. He cried, "My God, why has thou forsaken me?" I say, "Ye gods! When wilt thou forsake me?" For the fire, every moment is an alter."
